Nahkiaissalon luontopolulta on lyhyt, 100 metrin pisto Lohilahden telttailupaikalle, missä voi tulistella talvellakin. Muuten talvisaikaista liikkumista kansallispuiston alueella kehotetaan välttämään saimaannorpan pesinnän turvaamiseksi, mutta vain saarissa liikkuminen on kokonaan kiellettyä.
